  • Cancellation by You: If you cancel your ride before a driver is assigned, you may be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations after a driver is assigned may incur a cancellation fee, and the remaining amount (if any) will be refunded.
  • Cancellation by Us: If Get My Taxi or the assigned driver cancels your ride due to unavailability or operational issues, you will receive a full refund.
  • Service Issues: If you experience significant service disruptions (e.g., the driver fails to arrive or the ride is not completed due to driver fault), you may request a full or partial refund, subject to review.
  • Overcharges: If you are charged incorrectly (e.g., billed more than the displayed fare), we will refund the excess amount.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • No-Show: If you fail to appear at the pickup location within a reasonable time (e.g., 10 minutes after the scheduled time) and the driver cancels the ride, no refund will be provided.
  • User Error: Bookings made with incorrect details (e.g., wrong pickup/drop-off location) that result in ride cancellation are not eligible for a refund unless corrected before driver assignment.
  • Completed Rides: Once a ride is successfully completed, the fare is non-refundable unless there is a verifiable billing error.

3. Cancellation Fees

A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel a ride after a driver has been assigned and is en route to your location. The fee will be deducted from your payment, and any remaining amount will be refunded.

The exact fee (if applicable) will be communicated at the time of booking or cancellation.

4. Refund Process

Review: We will review your request within 5 business days and notify you of the outcome.

Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Get My Taxi is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.

Refund Credit time: Refunds take 5 to 10 business days to be credited to your bank account.
